imo only builders have the mindset of “I could build that in 45 minutes”. you could cook a meal in 45 minutes and you still getting doordash or whatever. most of your real customers are the same, they wanna pay to make the problem go away

Famously a product like Dropbox was criticized on Hacker News because it was trivial to set up the same thing on your own. But even small amounts of friction will stop most people from context switching to build more when they could be chilling.
